Responsibilities:
The IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is responsible for managing and collaborating with business partners to deliver solutions that support business goals and needs while leveraging existing technology. This individual will be a key contributor to IT solution selection, managing solution implementations and process improvements throughout the organization. The role is vital to BEF IT organization to efficiently organize, prioritize, track, manage and measure IT solutions and capabilities as well as guide cross-functional teams through implementations and/or process improvements. This position includes coordinating resources, prioritizing projects, requirement gathering, process documentation, data analysis and delivering applicable training to the organization. Maintaining strong relationships with business leaders combined with in-depth knowledge of company operation and processes is key as it is critical for BEF IT to partner with other departments to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
- Lead Business Unit/IT team’s RFP / RFI / RFQ’s for business opportunities; manage departmental capabilities to meet proposed schedules and start-up timelines; act as a Business Unit IT representative.
- Manages coordination of configuration, development and IT change management related activities associated with assigned solutions.
- Translates business requirements into functional designs, specifications, and solutions.
- Interacts closely with functional teams and stakeholders to ensure technical and quality targets are met in the development and delivery of IT services and solutions.
- Prepares and provides report out of assigned project work plans for designated solution implementations, applications, and reporting updates/enhancements.
- Owns both functional and analytical support and documentation for existing and future implementations.
- Develops and maintains a deep understanding of business process, procedures, solutions, and systems as it relates to BEF ERP platforms.
- Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner across the business.
- Maintains a continuous improvement approach with BEF Applications Team and managed service providers to optimize application performance and proactively avoid issues.
- Delivers training and education related to IT solutions, implementations, and process.
- Continues to build professional business, and technical skills through practice, training, participation in user groups and education.
- Works in conjunction with all IT and BEF policies.
Education Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field; or equivalent combination of education and IT/business operations experience
Experience:
- 5-7 years of hands-on management of IT application delivery, business analysis, business intelligence or enterprise solutions with broad exposure to system integrations, migrations, upgrades, patching and maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience of system design, development, or integration projects.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in all phases of Application configuration management and working knowledge of SQL script writing.
