Position Overview:

We are undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks and buses to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We are currently seeking a IT Business Relationship Director - Engineering, Procurement and Quality that will serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units for the purpose of business/IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.

This position will be based in our Lisle headquarters and will report into the SVP, Chief Information Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the business relationship linkage between Engineering, Procurement and Quality (at the executive level)
  • Communicates decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business requests, projects and initiatives
  • Seeks out process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, analysis and discussion of alternatives to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business areas
  • Plans, manages and controls the activities of a team to ensure day-to-day operational support for a business segment, group or team. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 14 years of information systems/information technology experience
  • At least 6 years of management experience
OR
  • Master's degree
  • At least 12 years of information systems/information technology experience
  • At least 6 years management experience
OR
  • At least 16 years of information systems/information technology experience
  • At least 6 years management experience
Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
