Job description
We are looking for a IPC Assembler to perform a variety of brake and clutch electrical assembly using blueprints and assembly Instructions to perform bench builds of various wire assemblies. Assemble and install electrical components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, and soldering. Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic components to correct defects and to ensure conformance IPC 620 standards. Provide support in interpreting IPC standards for the organization. Authorization to deliver and administer CIS or CID/CID+ training and certification is a plus.
· IPC Soldering certification
· Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine material requirements or assembly instructions.
· Perform various assembly functions including clamping, checking clearances, crimping, wire dressing, soldering and mechanical assembly of components
· Simple mechanical fabrication and assembly using hand tools
· Electrical assembly which includes the assembly and wiring of systems
· Conduct / monitor experiments on high voltage, high power devices
· Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
· Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
· Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.
· Explain assembly IPC procedures or techniques to other workers.
· Fabricate or form parts, coils, or structures according to specifications, using micrometers, calipers, cutters, or saws.
· Use various types of potting and epoxy compounds, wiring on or near optics and other assigned work
· Maintain appropriate production records
· Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
· Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations
· Perform other similar and related duties as required or assigned by supervisor
· Compliance to ISO and regulatory requirements – ability to prove process and personnel effectiveness
· Other duties as assigned
Physical tasks

- Concentrated mental/visual demand, periodic use of magnification
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or specialized IPC training
- Familiarity with solder processes and Resistor (IPC) color code
- Must be able to read and interpret assembly instructions, engineering drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics
- Electronic assembly experience or equivalent within the aerospace, defense, medical industry preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
