Title: Investor Relations Manager
Location: Largo, Maryland (On-site)
Duration: Full Time

Responsibilities include:

• Serves as the centralized point of contact for external stakeholders/investors

• Provide potential investors with education and guidance to ensure their overall understanding and comfort level when evaluating the risk/return profile of a deal or loan structure.

• Prospects and calls existing contacts within the database to determine if they are interested in allocating capital to a particular deal or note.

• Provide investors and partners with the necessary documentation/disclosures needed in order to close/solidify the deal.

• Provide investors and shareholders with periodic updates on the property’s performance, risks, and any notable events.

• Provides feedback to management regarding the investment community's perception of how the company is being managed, and their view of its overall market positioning.

• Creates presentations and other external communication materials for prospective investors and internal stakeholders.

• Provides feedback surrounding the overall sentiment of information presented to and from the investor community.

• Organizes both routine and ad hoc investor stakeholder meetings.

• Represents the views of the investor community to management for the purpose of maintaining and developing future growth strategies.

• Develop investor facing messaging based emerging operational changes or arising issues. This includes written communication, presentation, email and all other information available on the website or media

Risk Mitigation and Strategy

• Monitors and assess the optimal type and mix of investors needed to sustain and foster the growth of development projects and the company as a whole.

• Consults with management on the financial and relational impact that operational changes will have on the existing and future investor community as a whole.

• Analyzes, evaluates, and mitigates the financial and reputation risks associated with future decisions made by management that may affect the company.

• Assess the previous handling of risks in an effort to develop contingency plans while minimizing the impact of the adverse decisions made.

• Informing management about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring all parties understand the risks that might affect employees, projects, and external stakeholders to ensure individuals understand their own accountability for assumed risks.

• Explaining the external risk posed by corporate governance to stakeholders

• Recommend boundaries and parameters in which the company will operate in order to limit market exposure and drawdown risks.

• Conducting internal compliance and investor audits to ensure proper documentation and record keep practices are maintained.

System Management & Implementation

• Setup and manage company user accounts and email assets.

• Setup and implement company tech stack (Internal CRM, G-Suite, Monday.com, Asana, Zoom, etc.)

• Assess business needs and develop E2E (end-to end) organizational workflows that automate high-volume, repeatable tasks in an effort to increase operational efficiency and optimize core business processes (i.e. Investor Onboarding, deal solicitation, tracking of deal documents, issuance of notes, etc.).
