The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for managing inventory control processes and ensuring accuracy and control of inventory. The Manager will also be responsible for managing two employees and executing daily inventory analysis, identifying and resolving discrepancies and opportunities, locating items that may have incorrect locations, and ensuring inventory accuracy and shrinkage are monitored and reported.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory control processes and ensure accuracy and control of inventory. • Execute daily inventory analysis, identify and resolve discrepancies and opportunities, locate items that may have incorrect locations, and ensure inventory accuracy and shrinkage are monitored and reported. • Maximize the performance of inventory processes and systems to ensure control of inventory and accuracy. • Manage the planning and execution of cycle counts. • Identify areas of improvement and recommend and implement improved inventory control processes. • Develop, implement and validate procedures, controls, and systems to prevent, detect, and correct errors in inventory transactions and balances. • Research complex transaction histories to reconcile inventory discrepancies. • Manage two employees. • Travel to Spectra Branches, up to 25% of the time, once a quarter, and could be gone for a week at a time.

Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures. • Ability to work independently with little direction. • Ability to read, interpret, apply and explain rules, policies, and procedures. • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy. • Good computer skills. • Intermediate Excel Skills Required. • Basic Math Skills. • Dependable and reliable.
