Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York — plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.
Summary:
Structures and develops work processes to provide team members with opportunities for internal movement including promotions, new positions, mentorships, cross-team or additional projects, job shadowing, and job swaps promotions, access to internal movement, growth opportunities and cross training opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1. Tracks, manages and reports internal talent movement
2. Assists coordinate strategic initiatives surrounding internal talent pools
3. Utilizes technology to measure out current skill sets and help identify skill gaps, mismatches, and current pool of skills
4. Collaborates with other members and of the HR team to create an infrastructure to develop internal talent – including developing a formalized internal mentorship program
5. Assists with expanding fellowships programs across the organization
6. Assists with developing and managing formal career path for internal talent pool and collaborates with internal and external partners to develop training programs as needed to support career development.
7. Assists with facilitating and coordinating internal employee rotation program to help develop internal talent skills and job readiness
8. Coordinates and manages internship Programs
9. Customizes sourcing campaigns to meet specific hiring needs – leverages external tools to attract talent
10. Assists with identifying and deploying candidate assessment tool.
11. Maintains and Models Nuvance Health Values.
12. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
13. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field
- 5 years' experience in Talent Attraction, or human resource generalist
- Commitment to continuous improvement, process excellence and operational efficiency
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- An aptitude for data driven decision making
- A track record of building scalable structure and process from the ground up
- Possess an understanding of basic human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to multi-task in a growing, fast-paced environment.
- Relationship-oriented; values collaboration and communication
- Must demonstrate good judgment and creative problem-solving ability
- High ethical standards and strong sense of professional accountability

- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
