Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU) to join our team of healthcare professionals in Chico, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU and Coronary Care Unit.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Use advanced medical equipment and technology to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and reports
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of California
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU and/or Coronary Care Unit
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
