THE OPPORTUNITY
Perspective Insurance is looking for a competitive Insurance Agent to add to our team. If you’re a talented and sales-minded professional with a passion for the insurance industry, then we’re interested in you. Your main goal as our Insurance Agent will be to generate new business by contacting potential customers and building lasting relationships

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WE CAN COUNT ON TO…

• Develop base for long-term sources of clients by using referrals, occupational, and special-interest groups to compile lists of prospects.
  
• Determine client needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments; determine extent of present coverage and investments; ascertain long-term goals. Develop a coordinated protection plan by calculating and quoting rates for immediate coverage action and long-term strategy implementation.
  
• Obtain underwriting approval by completing application for coverage.
  
• Complete coverage by delivering policy; planning future follow-up visits and evaluation of needs.
  
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  
• Be committed to and involved in community service.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS…

• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• Licensed in personal and commercial lines of insurance.
  
• Sell and meet sales goals.
  
• Ability to effectively present information, verbally and in writing; respond to questions from clients and co-workers.
  
• Understand products
