R.K. Tongue Co. is seeking a motivated, disciplined, and energetic insurance Producer / Account Executive to join our Professional Markets team. Account Executive responsibilities include soliciting and obtaining new clients as well as managing and growing the insurance portfolios of existing clients. This is a results-accountable position and comes with an existing book of customers, predominantly in the healthcare and professional services industry.

Producing Account Executives at R.K. Tongue are the standard-setters for consultative and advisory sales of new life / health and property / casualty products including professional liability insurance to dentists, individuals, and small to medium-sized professional services businesses. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented producer to build a substantial book of business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Identify prospects from both existing and non-clients

· Maintain a consistently strong and active new business pipeline

· Aggressively identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities among existing clients

· Obtain referral leads from existing clients and centers of influence

· Work as a team with existing Account Executives to identify and pursue employee benefits, voluntary benefits, and personal lines opportunities with commission splits

Job Requirements

· Current Property / Casualty and Life/ Health Licenses preferred – Company paid licensing considered for the right candidate

· 2-years licensed insurance agent/broker experience strongly preferred

· Associate Degree or higher

· Home-office and robust tele-working capabilities

· Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, in-person, by phone, and by virtual meeting· Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow up, timely quotations, and general account support

· Actively partner, network, and plan for new clients and/or new business opportunities

· Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention and maintain strong client relationships

· Have excellent time management skills and personal accountability

· Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, participate in agency marketing activities, meet/network with carriers and vendors, and attend agency functions

· Proficiency in Office 365 - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams

· Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to travel
