    Job Summary:
    Coordinate and facilitate training and on-going support for teachers with the goal of expanding proficiency, creating classroom instructional excellence, and improving the overall performance of students. One of the coaching positions will have a focus on supporting job-embedded professional development including supporting incorporating instructional technology. The other coaching role will have a focus on supporting new and continuing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
    The Instructional Coach reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent for Academics. The Work Year includes the 180.5 days for the regular teacher work year, plus 20 additional days for summer work.

    Qualifications:

    • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) appropriate to assignment.
    • English as a Second Language endorsement, preferred or must be willing to complete.
      • Instructional Coaches are required to maintain an ESL endorsement, or obtain it within their first four years in the District.

    Salary:
