• Provide infusions to adult patients.
• Oversee the infusion process including authorizations.
• Prepare the initial infusion order for physician review/signature.
• Properly administer medications based on specific treatment plans per patient.
• Take vitals of patients receiving the infusion.
• Assess and detect any changes in symptoms relating to health and pain.
• Keep a detailed record of each infusion via an electronic medical records system (Eclinicalworks).
• Review and prepare an inventory of medications for scheduled patients.
• Coordinate care with other clinicians and members of the infusion team.
• Maintain supplies necessary for infusing.

• Must have current Illinois RN license in good standing.
• One year of infusion nursing experience.
• Experience administering medications and fluids to a patient through an injection.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail to provide quality care.
• Maintain a clean workspace.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and maintain the highest level of patient care.
• Able to remain professional with patients.
• Experience in providing biological therapies such as Remicade, Rituxan, etc.
