LC State invites applications for the position of Information Technology Instructor

Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $62,000 - $65,000 (11-month position)

Required Qualifications:

• 8 years of current experience in a related field; OR
  Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related field with five (5) years of current field experience in a related field; OR
  Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related field with three (3) years of current field experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience in a technical college, accredited trade school, high school, or as an industry trainer.
• Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related field.

Responsibilities:

Instruct and supervise students in the Information Technology program. Develop, plan, implement, and revise programs and courses, curriculum, and lesson plans. Evaluate student progress in attaining goals and objectives. Maintain lab equipment and program/personal certification requirements; attend faculty and educational meetings. Assist in recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts as well as ensuring safety and security for the program. Work with the program's advisory committee, industry representatives, and employers to facilitate job and internship opportunities. Operate and maintain program budget, and contribute to college-wide goals and activities by serving on committees and other institutional activities. Applicants are required to complete CTE teacher training courses for Idaho Teaching Certification.
