Kitson & Partners, developers of Babcock Ranch, America’s first solar-powered town, has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced IT Administrator at our Babcock Ranch location. This position is responsible for supporting on-site IT requirements for the west coast Kitson & Partners offices, including Babcock Ranch and Talis Park, troubleshooting IT calls for remote support companywide and software application-related assignments and projects with the exception that the IT Administrator is the lead for IT support for the onsite water/wastewater utility plant.

As new K&P buildings are planned and constructed, the position will be part of the collaborative team for IT and AV requirements from the planning phase through the physical roll out.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inhouse primarily Windows based computer systems including installation, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and upgrades to hardware, while ensuring optimal performance.
  • Maintain prescribed cybersecurity protocols to enhance network security.
  • Provide end-user help desk support by receiving, prioritizing, and actively resolving end-user software and hardware assistance requests.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize network hardware, software, and communication links.
  • Assist in optimizing wireless, voice, and data communication devices.
  • Administer company e-mail and office 365 applications as required.
  • Perform software maintenance and projects for applications used by K&P entities.
  • Provide assistance with Audio Visual needs for corporate meetings and K&P related Babcock Ranch events.
  • Create and maintain department documentation.
  • Must be available for after hours on-call support including nights weekends and holidays in rotation.
  • Must be able to travel in South Florida as needed.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

· Strong analytical, communication, time management and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability.

· Ability and knowledge to support mobile computer users.

  • Must have end extensive end user help desk knowledge / experience and advance general troubleshooting skills.

Cognizant of situations where supervisors need to become involved

Educations and/or Experience:

  • Applicable four-year degree or two-year degree/certification with corresponding experience level.
  • Experience and/or training with Windows servers, workstations, Active Directory, hardware, and virtualization.
  • Experience or training with networking equipment such as: switches including VLAN configuration, copper and fiberoptic connectivity as well as firewall knowledge is helpful. Willing to train the right candidate.
  • Training or experience with firewalls.
  • Training or experience with Wi-Fi configuration.

· Audio Visual and security camera experience helpful
