Description:

Crawford Technologies is seeking an Information Security Officer who will be responsible for ensuring appropriate operational security posture is maintained for information systems. The ISO will manage all matters related to cybersecurity for all on-prem and cloud-based information systems (AWS). In this role, the selected candidate will work to communicate cyber security status and posture with company management and compliance/controls auditors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related field
  • 7-10 years of information security experience
  • Experience with Firewalls, MS Active Directory, Splunk, Anti-Virus and Malware solutions, Windows, Linux, AWS Security
  • Experience with common information security compliance frameworks, such as PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC2 Type II
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls

Responsibilities:

  • The ISO is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of all facets of Crawford Technologies Information Security Program.
  • The ISO will develop the information security strategy in conjunction with the IT team and monitor applicable regulations and industry trends to adjust the policies, programs, and processes as needed.
  • The ISO manages the development, implementation and maintenance of security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • The ISO oversees the security awareness program and coordinates relevant training as appropriate for users throughout the organization.
  • The ISO will coordinate periodic testing activities (e.g., social engineering) to confirm effectiveness of the training program and understand relevant technology related to security information and event management (SIEM), firewalls, multi-factor authentication, messaging systems, data loss prevention, and data classification.
  • The ISO performs regular monitoring of security events, including alerts and periodic reports produced by the SIEM and other resources.

Salary will be based on your experience level and the amount of knowledge you bring to the company. Range: $100k+
