Job : Infection Preventionist

Location : Brooklyn NY

Contract: 13 weeks contract

Experience with Med/ Surg/Peds/ED/Ob/Gyn/Critical Care
Certification in Infection Control (CIC)

Holds and maintains CIC issued by CBIC;

2. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Epidemiology, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Nursing or a related discipline and four (4) years of satisfactory clinical experience or experience working in infection prevention and control.

Health care epidemiology or a related field in a hospital or a health care setting; or

3. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as listed in #2 above; and five (5) years of satisfactory experience, as described in #2 above.

Minimum Education Required Bachelors

SHift: 8am-4pm Weekends/Holidays Not Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Brooklyn, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Med/ Surg/Peds/ED/Ob/Gyn/Critical Care: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) (Preferred)
• BLS (AHA) (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
