Scripps Exploring Academy is a privately owned Child Development Center located in the Scripps Ranch area. We have infants, toddlers, two’s, three’s, pre-k and advanced pre-k. You may find out more about our school at scrippsexploringacademy.com.

We are also currently offering a sign on bonus of $500.00 paid in increments! $100 after your first 30 days, an additional $100 after your next 30 days, and the remaining $300 after your 90th day at SEA.
We are currently hiring an infant floater teacher.
· Must have completed the required ECE (listed further below)!
· We are looking for people who can work 9am – 6pm, but should be flexible overall.
· Starting pay depends on credentials and experience. If you meet our requirements (the proper ECE units, experience with children, and can work late hours we will start you at $19.00 with a raise after a successful 90 days!). WE WILL PAY MORE FOR THE RIGHT PERSON!
- We will consider someone with no classes, but you must be ready to take your classes immediately (we'll pay for them) and the starting pay will be less.
· Duties: Plan, prepare, and implement curriculum for infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks – 18 months, but each developmental stage has their own classroom! Oversee the care and supervision of their students and set up the learning environment for their continued learning and success.
· Ratio is 1:4 for infants and 1:6 for toddlers, class size is up to 12. Potty Training working ratio is 1:8, class size is up to 16. EACH DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE HAS THEIR OWN CLASSRROM AT SEA! Newborns, crawlers, walkers, younger/older toddlers, younger/older potty training, etc. We especially need someone to work with our crawling infants.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who have a background in child development and a true love for working with children.
· Must have completed: Family, Child, and Community; Principles of Child Development; an ECE curriculum class; and Infant/Toddler. We will consider someone who is currently enrolled in one of these classes, but you must have infant/toddler already completed and be fully qualified by the end of the semester). If you have two classes already complete, we will pay for your remaining classes! We will consider someone with no classes, but you must be ready to take your classes immediately (we'll pay for them) and the starting pay will be less.
· Must have strong communication skills, reliable transportation, flexible schedule, and positive work ethic.
· These positions require excellent customer service skills, and we expect our employees to have exemplary parent communication.
These positions need to be filled ASAP. We need full-time employees but will consider a part time person if you just need to finish out the semester.
· Must have or obtain Livescan fingerprints, TB Test, Physical, and a copy of your transcripts.
· The starting pay is based on your credentials and experience.
· Medical coverage is available after 90 days (we pay 75%), holiday pay is available after 90 days, and paid vacation is available after one year.
