The Wealth Management Leader is the go-to-market leader, subject matter expert, and thought leader advocate for the Advisory Wealth Management Consulting Practice within NTT DATA’s Financial Services and Insurance practice. The Wealth Management Leader will be responsible for providing leadership to the practice, our clients, and key projects in the Wealth Management and Private Banking practice. This leader will have a deep knowledge of the subject matter to develop and deliver solutions for our clients, working with our FSI sales , client account leaders, and other NTT DATA business units . The incumbent will network with industry leaders, technology vendors, current clients, and potential clients to understand industry trends, technology advancements, and evolving customer needs. The practice leader is a key partner in the sales pursuit process, working with FSI sales and client leaders to create presentations and proposal responses demonstrating NTT DATA Wealth Management capabilities and expertise to meet client needs. Our client base and expertise span strategic financial services institutions including top 10 U.S. banks, global payment providers, and top wealth management firms. You will regularly interact with, and learn from, our industry experts and experienced team members in driving business solutions and outcomes to help our clients achieve their operational, digital, data, and transformational goals.

Responsibilities and Additional Qualifications:

Practice Building and Practice Leadership:

  • Identification of leverage points to build from, and the articulation, depiction, and growth plan for the Wealth Management Practice
  • Ability to connect with existing Wealth Management client leaders and collaboratively formulate client plans and strategy to help grow the practice presence while driving client outcomes
  • Work with Practice team to further define the overall practice growth plan – financial, capability, revenue, etc. to evolve and grow the Wealth Management practice
  • Experience creating thought leadership, white papers, and presentations in Wealth Management
  • Able to drive communication and targeted messaging vertical and horizontal planes internally and in all levels of client organizations

Client Relationships and Sales Pursuits:

  • Scoping and leading the delivery of wealth management related work and supporting and guiding junior team members as required
  • Management and quality control of development and analysis work streams in a wide range of project contexts
  • Leveraging skills and experience to support the development of proposals and go to market propositions
  • Evaluating new products to expand the scope of the team’s work and improve its efficiency
  • Contributing to the firm’s talent agenda and helping to create an inclusive culture
  • Management of 3rd party and other alliance partner relationships
  • Drive communication along vertical and horizontal planes internal and in client organization

Solution Architecture:

  • Drive client solutioning for Financial Services Consulting sales pursuits in the practice area
  • Understand the business challenge and what client are trying to achieve
  • Formulate the solution based on expertise in practice area and Wealth Management practice capabilities
  • Identify the value proposition and differentiators for our Wealth Management practice
  • Develop the storyline that represents all our capabilities to address the client’s challenge
  • Leverage experience and good working knowledge of Wealth Management platforms to continue to evolve NTT’s solution set in Wealth and Private Banking

Collateral, Asset, and Community Development:

  • Develop practice area collateral, offerings, and supporting materials
  • Effectively communicate collateral and offering messaging to Financial Services Consulting Sales and Client teams for qualification discussions
  • Drive development of assets (e.g. tools, accelerators, etc.) and intellectual property (e.g. playbooks)
  • Provide guidance to Wealth Management billable consultants in the practice area for professional development
  • Identify and coach next generation of leaders in practice area

MBA Preferred

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in consulting, including conducting structured analysis, program definition and management, and consultative, collaborative problem-solving
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Wealth Management Advisory including experience utilizing Wealth Management models, Wealth Management constructs, Wealth Management processes, Wealth Management governance, and Wealth Management Solutions, etc
  • Developing Target Operating Models and Roadmaps implementing Wealth Management Solutions migrating environments to digital Wealth Management Technologies (Agile, Waterfall, SAFe)
  • Able to travel 30% and more as COVID 19 restrictions are lifted
