We have operations in Saint Louis, Missouri, Huntington Beach, California, and Milford, Connecticut, serving local, national and international customers, both military and commercial. The company supplies platform controls, aircraft components, liquid oxygen equipment, and emergency breathing equipment to its customers.

Summary of Job:

Ability to paint, mask, prime parts according to procedures, and meet customer specifications, mix touch-up paint, start exhaust fan, and clean and maintain all equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepare parts for painting (whether it is masking of parts, or paint booth prep).
• Apply required coats of primer, paint, or other coatings as specified.
• Mix primers and paints for spraying tanks, guns. Adjust spray pressures.
• Clean and maintain spraying equipment and paint booth and removal of spent filters and containing as hazardous waste
• Correctly use all protective equipment (including respirators, gloves, aprons, face shields, etc. per OSHA and safety specs for the paint booth).
• Keep paint booth and oven area clean, store paint-related products in compliance with established safety protocol.
• Properly dispose of all paint by-products, cleaning of all paint-related equipment, properly label all paints, solvents, thinners, etc, per instructions.
• Comply with Essex company policies and maintain a positive work environment.
• Assist in other areas, or tasks, to meet production needs

Required to have 3 months – 1 years’ experience in assembly work or paint booth; high school level education preferred or equivalent.
