The Industrial Operations Planner will be responsible for all the manufacturing planning detail for assembly and installation, from development to maintenance of plans
Job Details:
- Implement new and synchronous planning systems for fabrication/manufacturing shops
- Manage weekly/month production project schedules to coordinate services and maximize productively
- Manage shop floor and employee schedules
- Manage shipping/receiving/ inventory/ logistics operations
- Developing and implementing a receiving, inventory management, and planning process
- Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvement.
- Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
- Improve the efficiency of each production process.
- Bachelors Degree or 5+ managerial experience in production/manufacturing environment
- Machine/fabrication/production shop experience strongly preferred
- Inventory/logistics experience preferred
- Knowledge and/or hands on experience of mechanical/electrical/ industrial/ automation services and facilities
- Effective oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and successfully balance multiple tasks and projects.
- High Level of self-initiative and dependability.
- High Level of interpersonal skills and proven to work effectively with other.
- Strong business acumen particularly in order fulfillment and/or distribution.
- Resourceful and highly organized with attention to detail.
