Superior Industrial Maintenance is hiring an Industrial Flooring/Coating Superintendent in Concord, NC. This position can be based anywhere within driving distance to Concord, NC.

As an Industrial Flooring/Coating Superintendent, you will be leading work crews on industrial flooring projects as contracted by our clients. This position requires regular travel to job sites in North Carolina, South Carolina, and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for ensuring safety and regulations while on the job site in addition to serving as the liaison between the company and clients.

Superior Industrial Maintenance is a leading nationwide industrial coating and linings, tank and terminal/pipeline repair, and lead/asbestos abatement contractor. For over 25 years, Superior Industrial Maintenance has been providing turnkey services for the power generation, military & commercial aviation fuel, chemical, industrial, food & beverage, and water industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting onsite meetings with customers to plan and coordinate project activity
• Enforce company safety and compliance guidelines
• Coordinating onsite work layouts for blueprints, measuring elevations from benchmarks and profiles
• Work with project manager to maintain scheduled and target date completion of jobs
• Scheduling equipment, tools, and materials to job site
• Be accountable for project results including quality, safety, contract compliance, subcontractor management, and profit targets
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand the capabilities of the organization

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with industrial flooring applications, including epoxy and cementitious material
• Strong communication skills and "can do" attitude
• Ability to travel for overnight assignments
