What does the role entail?
- Selling insurance products to new and existing customers
- Make outbound calls to customers that are eligible for additional coverage.
- Receive inbound calls from current customers about adding on additional coverage.
- Be able to explain policy benefits.
- Assist with correspondence and error corrections for policy service
- Other duties as required
- Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Life & Health License (Strict Requirement)
- 1+ years of work experience in a call center environment, receptionist role, -OR- a role in which they commonly took high volume calls on a daily basis (Strict Requirement)
- Some ‘Insurance sales’ experience preferred but not required
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Remote Experience Strongly Preferred but not required
- Reliable internet connection (Must meet minimum of 10 download, 5 upload)
- Quiet & Professional Workplace
- Basic Computer Knowledge/Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Minimum typing requirement of 35 wpm
- Superior customer service skills required – friendly, efficient, good listener
- Strong decision making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions.
- Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Must be detail-oriented
- This is a captive position
Pay:
- Pay is based on position you are placed in. Company will determine which position you are eligible for.
- 15.00hr - 17.99 per hour / Bi-weekly
- Bonus Pay - Based on production
Position Schedule:
Schedule will depend on role candidate is hired for so we prefer candidates that have open availability - since schedules and positions are not guaranteed.
Outbound FEP (Non Licensed Position):
- FT- 8:00AM to 4:30PM Mon - Fri
- PT- 5:00PM to 9PM Mon-Fri
Outbound Add-On Licensed Agent Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm CST (Overtime as needed) and may need to work one rotating Saturday per month
Inbound Licensed Agent Schedules:
- 7am-3:30pm CST (4 weekdays plus Saturday)
- 8am-4:30pm CST (4 weekdays plus Saturday)
- 11:30am-8pm CST (Monday-Friday)
