The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Security Analyst for Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) is responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of IAM domain policies, control inventory, data management, and metrics. These activities are related to IAM products and services centered on access provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, authentication, identity management, privileged access, and service account management. This person will help reduce risk throughout SECU by ensuring IT and lines of business resources know and understand IAM policies, compliance standards, control requirements, and adherence. The successful candidate will create and manage a data and metrics reporting framework that measures compliance with IAM domain policies and the overall effectiveness of the IAM program to include the operational controls. Working with relevant business units to improve security awareness and meet regulatory and compliance standards while supporting the SECU IT transformation that is underway is critical to this role. Responsibilities also include working with IAM engineers to conduct QA testing, ensuring that control processes and operations remain effective. Duties:
  • Provide monitoring and analytics using IBI Data Migrator/Webfocus (or other BI tool) to design, develop, and maintain relevant reports.
  • Assist in identifying compliance risks, enhance, and implement compliance monitoring efforts, and foster a compliance culture; where appropriate, identify gaps and or issues for escalation to leadership and propose process improvements and enhancements.
  • Develop and generate meaningful reports metrics and dashboards that show control adoption progress, risk mitigation reduction, control effectiveness, and operational service levels.
  • Partner with Information Security (IS) and IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) resources to establish and maintain IAM domain policy that aligns to SECU risk appetite and environmental needs.
  • Assist with quality assurance (QA) control testing activities to confirm effectiveness.
  • Promote security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with developing and implementing KPIs and KRIs for information security program.
  • 3+ years’ experience working with business intelligence tools while possessing intermediate to advanced proficiencies in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of IAM relevant technical solutions (such as SailPoint, MFA, Privileged Access Management: CyberArk).
  • Possess strong knowledge of industry best practices, technology, and evolving threats to enhance defenses for SECU’s information systems and resources.
  • Strong organizational, time management, negotiation, and resource management skills.
  • Customer service driven, quality focused, and team oriented with effective and persuasive written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess critical thinking and business risk analysis skills.
  • Strong functional knowledge of MS Office Suite software products, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong communications skills, oral and written.
  • Ability to collaborate and interact productively with team members and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively influence and convince others to make appropriate changes in their priorities and behaviors for the benefit of the organization.
  • An understanding of business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business.
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Specific experience with NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, COBIT or other information security related framework.
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or other information security related certification(s).
