We are a small locally owned business looking to add a few amazing people to our team! The Pineapple Hut is a tropical inspired soft serve ice cream concept serving vegan and dairy free options. We have two locations - Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston. If you apply, please specify which location you are interested in.

**MUST BE AVAILABLE OVER THE SUMMER**

Responsibilities/Highlights

-Serve dairy free and vegan options at one of two awesome locations in Charleston: Folly Beach or Downtown Market Street

-Be able to work a 5.5 hour shift. Either from 11am-4:30pm or 4:30pm-10pm.

-Work in an environment oriented around serving others and making people’s day

-Be available to work weekends, nights (until 10pm during certain parts of the season), and some holidays. Willingness to trade or cover shifts is a major plus.

-Provide consistent, awesome service to each and every customer

-Be reliable, on time, and ready to hustle for every shift

-Have an eye for detail, willingness to maintain a clean environment, endurance for long lines, and friendly positive energy when talking with customers

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask at times

-Be ready to core more pineapples than you ever have in your life

-Base pay is $13 for downtown and $12 for folly in addition to tips which can boost pay significantly. Of our time open, average pay during the summer ranges from $25-$40 hourly. The highest hourly rate including tips reached $60!

-If you work at the Folly location, on days that there is traffic getting to the beach, we will pay you for up to an hour to compensate for your time.

-One free parking space is available at both locations
