The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Security Analyst for Control Adoption (CA) is responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of control adoption activities of IAM products and services which are focused on access provisioning, deprovisioning, certifications, authentication, identity management, privileged access, and service account management. This person will help reduce risk throughout SECU by ensuring IT and lines of business resources know and understand IAM policy compliance expectations and control adoption requirements. Responsibilities also include working with teams to train and educate on IAM control solutions integration approaches, while guiding and directing needed remediation required to support control adoption activities. This position is a direct report to the Head of IAM and is joining an existing team of security professionals that are experienced with the suite of tools owned by IAM Build & Engineering group and able to consult and provide additional support on complex issues. Duties:
- Develop services or processes to make more of IAM requests and processes available to other teams by self-service, thereby reducing time spent on manual activities.
- Expand usage and coordinate adoption activities of IAM control solutions (SailPoint IDN, CyberArk and Okta) to support technology asset onboarding along with other critical workflows (such as Remedy service requests and HR processes for joiners, leavers, and movers).
- Develop working relationship with IAM engineering and solution architect resources to drive improvements with product and service solution features and architectures.
- Identify inadequacies within the environment and help identify potential solutions to address IAM shortfalls.
- Partner with Information Security (IS) and line of business (LOB) leadership to understand requirements, enterprise IT standards and other considerations that influence how IAM solutions and services should perform and operate.
- Proactively identify and plan process improvements or sprint work for IAM product JIRA boards.
- Promote security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience working with IAM controls and tool solutions.
- 3-5 years’ experience with information security risk mitigation and control solution implementations within a highly regulated and secure environment.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of best practices to support entitlement plain business language (PBL) and standardized roles-based access construction.
- Understanding of IAM relevant technical solutions (such as SailPoint, MFA, Privileged Access Management: CyberArk).
- Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all management levels of the company to communicate the value and benefit of IAM solutions.
- Strong organizational, time management, negotiation, and resource management skills.
- Customer service driven, quality focused, and team oriented with effective and persuasive written and oral communication skills.
- Possess critical thinking and business risk analysis skills.
- Strong functional knowledge of MS Office Suite software products, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong communications skills, oral and written.
- Ability to collaborate and interact productively with team members and key stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively influence and convince others to make appropriate changes in their priorities and behaviors for the benefit of the organization.
- An understanding of business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Specific experience with NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, COBIT or other information security related framework.
- CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or other information security related certification(s).
Job Environment and Physical Demands:
