Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a Hyperbarics Technician to join our team.

The Hyperbaric Technician administers hyberbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy and diagnostic testing to patients of the Wound Healing Center. This individual works under the supervision of a Physician who orders all therapeutic and diagnostic modalities.

Hours: Full Time or .8 FTE, 64 hours every 2 weeks - Day shifts

Experience/Qualifications

• Minimum of a graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse or Emergency Medical Technician Program (basic level or above).
• Minimum of two years experience working as a healthcare provider is required. Wound, Hyperbaric, or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Basic computer operation skills (keyboard and mouse use, Internet browser use, opening and closing programs).
• Able to process e-mail (read, send, delete, file).
• Effective communications skills necessary for interacting with patients, family members, visitors and staff in a courteous manner.
• Able to maintain a safe environment.
• Able to maintain strict patient and staff confidentiality.
• Able to problem solve and prioritize efforts.
• Must be licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Practical Nurse or Emergency Medical Technician (basic level or above).
• Must maintain current certification in Basic Life Support.
