Scope
The HR Manager for Stafford Springs will partner closely with General Manager and/or site leadership team as a coach and architect in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, performance development, leadership capability and development, diversity and inclusion and organizational effectiveness.
The HR Manager for Stafford Springs will partner closely with General Manager and/or site leadership team as a coach and architect in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, performance development, leadership capability and development, diversity and inclusion and organizational effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic initiatives and processes and provide high value, people organizational/HR consultant and HR subject matter expertise to help build strategy, improve organizational performance and develop organizational capability
- Act as strategic partner to management to meet site needs while maintaining alignment with the Company practices and achieving Company goals
- Develop and implement recruiting strategy, manage and organize HR teams to meet site recruiting support needs
- Resolve employee relations matters and all HR issues in a timely manner
- Participate in HR projects and other assignments
- Drive change efforts to transform the site with a focus on performance and accountability
- Ensure compliance with appropriate State and Federal employment legislation
- Actively participate with Corporate HR in the roll-out of HR tools and training programs for TTM Managers and employees
- Communicate and coordinate the implementation of HR policies and programs in alignment with company goals
- Ensure consistent application of HR related policies and programs
- Assess training and development needs and provide recommendations. Recommend, implement, and oversee the facilitation of training courses on HR topics
- Maintain productive communication and workflow with the Corporate HR team and administrative duties
- Set objectives and strategy for HR team and track progress
- Monitor HR metrics
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Must have strong HR fundamentals and possess HR Subject Matter Expertise in HR functions, in addition to having a business perspective and business acumen in formulating and implementing people/organizational/HR actions that will impact the business and drive required change efforts
- Experience with change management
- Experience coaching leaders of all levels, counseling leadership on matters concerning development of staff to enhance effectiveness and develop potential
- Demonstrated experience with performance management
- Collaborative behaviors and ability to consult effectively and independently
- Demonstrated track record of passion for high-level, challenging HR work, while maintaining high level of execution of tactical HR process and deliverables
- Experience investigating and helping to resolve Employee Relations issues and complaints. Focuses on creating a positive employee relations environment and culture by communicating and implementing pro-active employee relations strategies pertaining to employee relations, team based initiatives, training, leadership development, etc
- Expert knowledge of state and federal employment regulations
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Superb customer service skills and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Manager, or leading indirect reports or teams, preferably in Manufacturing environment
- SHRM / PHR Certification or equivalent preferred

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM Provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
