Job Purpose:

  • To manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive Human Resource Plan that will incorporate all the elements required to promote an energized, efficient, knowledgeable, well-rounded workforce capable of meeting the corporate objective of being an employer of choice.

Essential Functions

  • Contributes to management of the company by actively participating as a member of the Management Team.
  • Manage the recruiting and hiring process including development of companywide recruiting and hiring strategy, application processing, and pre-employment testing and offers of employment.
  • Manage and coordinate the onboarding/orientation process of all new employees to include coaching and monitoring the process for continuous improvement and development.
  • Manage the performance review process including development and training of the process; monitoring employee performance reviews for consistency across all areas of the company and coaching managers in the application of the process.
  • Manage all employee benefit plans to include negotiating with vendors to design and provide cost effective and competitive benefits to employees to be presented for executive approval, lead employees through the benefit enrollment process and coordinate annual open enrollment process, set up employee benefits with provider and audit monthly billings for accuracy and submission to Accounting for payment.
  • Manage and administer company compensation plans for setting wage grades and scales and advise executive team of changes needed to maintain competitive wages in the market.
  • Advise employee and managers through the appropriate processes for addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Manage and administer the payroll process.
  • Promote and track employee development through multiple programs.
  • Provide training of supervisory personnel in management techniques.
  • Promote employee-corporate relationships.
  • Promote employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
  • Advise management of potential threats to the company’s human assets.
  • Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions.
  • Provide company with guidance through employment issues and ensure compliance with all Federal and State employment reporting and laws.
  • Provide guidance for employee policy development and maintenance of the Employee Handbook.
  • Assist company leadership in the enforcement of employment policies as set forth in the Employee Handbook and supervision of employee disciplinary actions.
  • Administer employee services and counseling.
  • Provide employees with assistance in resolving benefit and payroll issues.
  • Maintain required employee filing and documentation.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Representing our firm at employment/recruitment fairs.
  • Develop programs that encourage the employees’ general morale and sense of ownership in our firm.
  • Assist in the acquisition of the employee benefits.
  • Special projects as assigned by Executive Team

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.

Three to five years Human Resource Management orotherrelated experience generally required.

Knowledge of current laws related to employment and benefits.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate detailed information to customers, coworkers and management.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner to develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, coworkers and management.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, procedure manuals, and job instructions.

Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.

Ability to understand financial reports and manage departmental budget.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to operate computer and computer software, to include Microsoft Office, payroll and human resources information system applications.

Ability to use department equipment such as computer, fax machine, copy machine, and telephone.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
