The fully integrated and automated RiskOptics ROAR Platform, which underpins the RiskOptics ZenRisk and ZenComply applications, empowers security executives to communicate the direct impact of risk on high-priority business initiatives to key stakeholders, helping them make smarter, more informed decisions.

With RiskOptics, InfoSec teams can strategically support their organization and foster company growth by optimizing resources and mitigating expensive data breaches, system failures, lost opportunities, and vulnerabilities with their customers' data.

If you enjoy problem-solving and building scalable processes, and are looking for an opportunity to have an immediate impact on ARR, RiskOptics could be the right place for you. We'd love to meet you!

Our Commitment to Pay Transparency

At RiskOptics, we are committed to transparent & equitable compensation practices across our entire organization. This is a critical component of our hiring process and as such, compensation for this role will be discussed during your first interview to ensure a fair interviewing experience and effective use of your time. No questions related to compensation are off-limits as we believe complete transparency leads to an enjoyable hiring experience for all involved.

Job Description:

As a Human Resources Generalist at RiskOptics reporting to our Director of People & Talent, you will have an opportunity to create processes that will help scale RiskOptics as we continue to grow. You'll impact every area of HR functions including onboarding, recruiting, employee experience, company culture, performance management, HRIS systems, policies and procedures, and compliance.

This role will be a great fit for someone who has a passion for people and is seeking a high level of visibility across an entire organization. If you enjoy the challenge of building new processes while hiring and developing a fantastic team in the SaaS space, take a look at RiskOptics!

What you will get to do:

  • Lead and continuously develop onboarding for new hires and support the offboarding processes
  • Interview for open positions and, in some cases, take full ownership of the interviewing and hiring process from start to finish
  • Partner with leaders across our GTM, Product, Engineering & G&A teams.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement employee policies, procedures, and programs
  • Proactively recommend new ideas to continually improve the efficiency of the department and HR partnership across the organization
  • Collaborate with leadership to build performance management and professional development programs
  • Collaborate with our Operations team on employee engagement programs and company culture initiatives.
  • Ensure HRIS systems are continuously updated by processing employment changes across systems in a timely manner
  • Respond to employment requests including verifications of employment, unemployment insurance claims, and worker's compensation claims as needed
  • Support the open enrollment process and serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions
  • Ensure internal compliance by administering workplace training courses including harassment prevention and cybersecurity; keep policies and notices up to date with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for any employee questions or requests

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or similar, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of human resources experience
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and ordinances
  • SME across core HR functions
  • Ability to serve as the point of contact for employees and build trust and rapport quickly
  • Experience supporting a Talent team and scheduling onsite & virtual interviews via an ATS (we use Greenhouse)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with all levels of the organization and external vendors
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-oriented
