Job description

• Guide Managers and Supervisors in performance management including performance appraisals
• Manage notification and tracking of employee performance appraisal process
• Prepare payroll authorizations for annual performance and merit increases
• Complete employee documentation for onboarding, transfers and promotions
• Represent HR Department in disciplinary action meetings for warnings, and terminations
• Verify that corrective actions are being administered equitably and correctly
• Assist in the recruiting process for both internal and external positions
• Recommend and schedule off-site training programs (i.e. MEA skills training programs)
• Audit employee training records in company systems
• Assist in preparation of training materials and coordination of in-house training
• Document and investigate employee complaints to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Ensure that work related incidents and injuries are properly documented and reported to meet Workers Compensation and OSHA requirements
• Administer employee appreciation and recognition & rewards programs
• Manage expenses for employee HR programs within budget
• Assist in maintenance and distribution of HR documents (i.e. Employee Handbook, HR Forms, Policy & Procedure, Job Descriptions, etc.)
• Support human resources initiatives as needed
• Assist in special projects, such as HR events, employee communications, and company-wide meetings

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
