Human Resources Manager Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred, related years’ experience accepted
  • Strong communication skills

Human Resources Manager Responsibilities

  • Being accountable day-to-day on core values and “normal” work expectations
  • Conducting employee hiring, onboarding, and training
  • Handling all staff scheduling duties based on availability
  • Overseeing the planning and setting up of in- and out-of-office staff participation and team building activities
  • Owning all information and management of employee benefits and compensation
  • Guiding fellow leadership team members through quarterly employee check-ins & annual reviews
  • Addressing the underperformance of team members with team leads and coaching them through corrections and terminations
  • Recognizing staff anniversaries and birthdays
  • Staying aware of all staff motivations and individual wants/career aspirations, ensuring they align with practice goals
  • Ensuring all staff are aware of the path they are on and expectations for their positions, how to meet those expectations, and what to do if they are falling short
  • Overseeing all compliance-related processes, including fair hiring and termination, workplace safety and HIPAA
