Team Rehab is a network of therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy clinics in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Georgia.
Our mission is to provide the best outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. We want our patients to enjoy therapy and experience clear improvements in their health. Our clinics receive the highest levels of patient satisfaction and our patients receive the best objectively measurable outcomes. Our strategy, based on excellent quality and patient satisfaction, is gaining momentum. Since opening our first clinic in 2001, we have grown across Michigan and into Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Georgia. We continue to open additional clinics in order to make physical, occupational and speech therapy even more accessible to our patients, their friends and their families.

Team Rehab has an opportunity within Human Resources. The HR Assistant plays an important role in maintaining and improving employee welfare. This position will be a hybrid, with the department working together in the office at least 1-2 days a week. Other days can work remotely. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that can work both autonomously and within a Team.
Responsibilities:
- Contact new hires to schedule orientations
- Make travel arrangements for out of state new hires
- Conduct and lead new hire orientations
- Perform Background checks and I-9 verifications
- Promote and support the culture of Team Rehab
- Ensure all paperwork is complete for personnel files
- Update HRIS system with employee information
- Enroll and update health insurance enrollments and changes
- Complete STD/LTD/COBRA/FLMA paperwork
- Update proper departments of employee status changes
- Conduct exit interviews
- Provide HR support to all staff members.
- May cross-train with payroll to help ensure payroll is submitted and processed timely for proper payout
- Must be committed to Team’s initiative of making DEI a priority - bringing a sense of belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Higher- Experience in HR preferred but not necessary
