Amalgamated Sugar Company is seeking a Human Resources Assistant. This position provides administrative support to the Human Resource department on personnel matters.

Additional Responsibilities:
· Assist with employee onboarding process for new hires and rehires. Ensure proper procedures are followed and required forms are complete and accurate for processing.
· Maintain current employee files both electronically and manually. This includes the data input and filing of all employee correspondence, changes and forms that come through the department. Sometimes this information requires input into multiple systems and must be reviewed for accuracy.
· Maintain accurate and up to date crew schedules. This includes daily updates of employee movement and supervisor changes.
· Assist in preparing union job bid packets including maintaining postings and bid sheets, compile all employee information, and keep organized for Recommend Meetings.
· Assist the department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for hourly employees.
· Perform customer service functions by answering employee request and questions.
· Assist with the preparation of the hourly employee performance review forms.
· Assist HR department with various research projects and/or special projects.
· Schedule conferences, meetings and interviews as requested.
· Assist and prepare correspondences.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the HR field.
· OR any similar combination of education and experience.

Pay: $41,303.00 - $43,310.00 per year
