Introduction:

Our Human Resource Manager will be a key member of our tight-knit, family-forward team, spearheading recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, training & development, and the application of company policies from top to bottom.

In this fast-paced, community-centric role, our HR Generalist will maintain consistent recruitment efforts with fairness and discernment, create & implement forward-thinking personnel procedures, and empower our frontline supervisory team while working under the direction of our CEO/Owner.

Krengel Manufacturing designs, builds, and die casts a wide variety of parts for the utility, automotive and transportation industries. With over 50 years of experience, Krengel is a female-owned, privately held business headquartered in Eastlake, OH. We are a second chance company and welcome formerly incarcerated adults in an industrial environment where they can grow toward a successful reentry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of HR experience
  • Working knowledge of HR related state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices and previous experience with HRIS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to build & maintain strong customer relationships
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency
  • Manufacturing experience a plus

Benefits & Perks:

Work hours are flexible for an 8-hour workday, Monday to Friday. We are offering a full-time position in the range of $60,000-90,000 per year based on experience. The role comes with a generous benefits package, including health, medical and dental insurance (paid ~70-90% by company depending on plan), vacation, paid time off, STD (short term disability), and a 401k plan is in process.

Please submit your resume. Our application process begins with a brief phone interview (5-10 minutes), followed by a second, more in-depth phone interview (15-30 minutes). Afterwards, candidates join our CEO and hiring team for an intensive in-person interview at our office.
