The HR Systems Analyst will support the organization’s use of Workday HCM, including the Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Time Off and Leave Workday modules. Working closely with other functional areas of Human Resources, the HR Systems Analyst will assist in improving processes and pursuing increased efficiency through maximizing the technological capabilities of the Workday system.
DUTIES:
- Make changes to business processes and notifications according to business needs in all Workday functional areas. This includes break/fix and enhancements as well as creation of new processes.
- Understand Workday configurations and dependencies to troubleshoot issues through resolution.
- Create and maintain complex reports, including regulatory reports.
- Understand, plan, and execute processes related to biannual Workday feature releases.
- Maintain and troubleshoot security within the Workday application.
- Assist with integration maintenance and troubleshooting in conjunction with IT support.
- Testing and documenting of all changes, both break/fix and enhancements, prior to migration to Production.
- Answer calls and emails related to use and maintenance of HR systems.
- Assist business and end users with necessary troubleshooting and other requests.
- Assist maintaining HR SharePoint intranet site.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience with Workday administration, both configuration and testing.
- Must be familiar with the Workday ecosystem, including Workday Community.
- Basic understanding of Payroll or multiple HCM modules.
- Experience creating testing scripts and documentation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate well with others, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with little supervision; takes initiative.
- Must be able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and understand and maintain HR data security.
- Must be organized, dependable and detail oriented as well as have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Other training, certification and education as requested.
- Must be able to speak English fluently.
- Must adhere to the work schedule and attendance policy established by manager.
- Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with co-workers and be cordial in all interactions.
Desire:
- Workday Pro accreditation in HCM, Reporting, or Security.
- 4-year degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive knowledge of Workday Payroll or Reporting.
- HR Certification, i.e. SHRM-CP/SCP, APHR, PHR/SPHR.
- Experience working in Human Resources related role.
