Job Description:

Serve as the facility’s HR Director and oversee the administrative office staff. Responsible to provide review and interpretation of HR policies and practices, maintain record keeping for personnel and related HRIS files, process personnel data entry and bi-weekly payroll. Provide for direction and supervision of business office staff for general corporate functions. Serve as part of the Southfield Village Management Team.

Duties include:

  • Oversee administrative, financial and HR affairs of the facility. Responsible for direct supervision of HR/Billing Assistant and Receptionist. In conjunction with supervision of Business Office staff, may be involved with minor accounting functions at the direction of the Administrator and consistent with Greencroft Communities guidance.
  • Assist with overseeing the initial application process and work with the staff to insure initial applications are reviewed for completeness; reference materials distributed and ensures appropriate follow up is conducted.
  • Responsible for weekly job postings and coverage for pre-hire paperwork sessions.
  • Coordinate initial orientation program to acquaint new hires with Southfield Village, its policies and practices.
  • Coordinate distribution of Employee Feedback forms to relevant supervisor and responsible for appropriate notices and reminders. Revise and distribute job descriptions as directed.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, business or related area strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources at a supervisory or coordinator level required.
  • Three or more years of direct payroll experience, knowledge of regulatory requirements required.
  • One (1) year of practical office administration and financial experience preferred.
