Job description
The Human Resources Generalist is to provide problem solving and administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including learning and development, change management, recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, employee/ managerial development, succession planning, employee relations, policy/ procedure interpretations, employment law compliance and HR special projects.
Essential Functions
- Problem solving in areas including but not limited to onboarding, performance management, employee development, succession planning, employee engagement, policy and procedure interpretations and implementation.
- Anticipate and plans for long term people related needs and trends.
- Tracks and communicate key HR performance indicators and determine corrective actions where appropriate.
- Participates in updating Company policies and procedures. Advice management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Identifies and determine proactive steps to avoid recurring issues.
- Recommends new approaches and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Provides managers and supervisors with interpretation and guidance regarding HR policies, practices, legal and compliance matters to ensure fair and consistent application.
- Creates and/ or updates various presentations or reports to support the HR Team.
- Respond to employee inquiries and collaborates with other team members as appropriate.
- Supports any/ all major initiatives and projects for the business.
- Assists with company events, recognition programs, engagement initiatives and team building activities.
- Maintains HRIS system
- Back-up for other team members
- Other duties assigned.

Education Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years' experience supporting HR or Talent Acquisition functions

Technical Skills:
- SAP experience
- ADP experience
- Intermediate level with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

- Frequent standing, walking, and manually
- On occasion reaching above shoulder, squatting or kneeling, bending, carrying 10 lbs. or less, and push/pull 12 lbs.
