HR Generalist

Preference Employment Solutions is now looking for an HR Generalist to join a successful local company. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of a wide variety of policies, procedures, and services within the organization. Location: Fargo, ND
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8am - 5pm
Compensation: $60k-$70k/year
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k w/match, EAP, PTO, Tuition Reimbursement
Type of Position: Direct Hire; Full Time

Position Overview:

· Determine and implement practices related to personnel administration.

· Develop forms, internal procedures, and workflows related to personnel files.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure understanding of workplace needs and concerns.

· Post job vacancies and screen applicants.

· Make job offers and oversee the onboarding of new hires.

· Assist in the reconciliation of payroll and benefits accounts, and with the processing of open enrollments and annual reporting.

Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:

· Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 2+ years of HR experience, with at least 1 year of recruiting experience

· SHRM preferred

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
