Human Resources Coordinator | Department: Human Resources:
This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior management (HR & Production staff) in supporting manufacturing locations. This position carries out responsibilities related to benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance.
Responsibilities:

Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply -
Knowledge of Texas Worker's Compensation Laws, guidelines, and system

Assist HR Business Partner in the recruitment efforts and new hire and transfer processes including but not limited to coordination of openings, development of job descriptions, diversity recruitment strategies, interview candidates, job offer recommendations and offer letters, writing announcements, and acting as liaison with the hiring manager and the recruiting team

Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals

Keeps records of benefits plan participation such as insurance and 401-k plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting

Assists HR Business Partner in training management in interviewing, hiring, and terminate, promotions, performance review, and sexual harassment

Assists HR Business Partner in documenting and sharing employee relations issues brought forth while HRBP is in a meeting or addressing another issue

Assists employees with benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurance, 401-k plans, vacation, sick leave, leaves of absence, and employee assistance

Assists HR Business Partner in the evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals

Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from the database

Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Leave Act (FMLA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Department of Labor, worker compensation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and so forth

Understands Federal and State occupational safety and health regulations and monitor regulatory changes

Reviews injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follow up as necessary

Assists in company-wide committees including the wellness, training, environmental health and safety, activity, and culture and communications committees

Assists the HR Business Partner with company compliance with all existing governmental reporting requirements including any related to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical

Performs other related duties as required and assigned
