Duties and Responsibilities:*
Under general supervision, this position provides daily guidance on Human Resource programs, processes and policies to ensure consistency and applicability across our Tulsa Markets. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. This role manages most aspects of the employment life cycle including: hiring, employee relations (including investigations), performance management, new hire orientation, benefits administration, terminations, and assists with recruiting. The incumbent is responsible for the general administration of human resources practices and policies. The HRBP actively analyzes and recommends changes to moderately complex location practices and ensures consistent application of HR laws, regulations and company policies. This role works with a diverse level of employees across all company locations. Must be willing to spend time at company locations meeting with employees and supervisors.

Workforce Management*

  • Evaluate staffing levels through workforce planning
  • Identify gaps in workforce competencies and create solutions to close gaps
  • Maintain records for EEO and affirmative action reporting requirements
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Investigates, analyzes and recommends changes/improvements to policies and procedures
  • Coordinates with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to keep job descriptions up-to-date
  • Supports the performance management cycle
  • May assist in salary planning and establishing and implementing manpower goals

Employee Relations*

  • Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide supervisors with guidance and coaching to resolve employee issues and administer corrective actions when appropriate
  • Available to assist in benefit administration including answering questions, completing and filing necessary forms, employee training, open enrollment assistance, etc.
  • Manages miscellaneous program coordination including health fairs, banquets, picnics, etc.
  • Accurately inputs personnel information into the HR management system

Talent Acquisition*

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialist to post openings, source resumes, conduct phone screens and interviews, and prepare and communicate offers, etc.
  • Attend general career fairs and college job fairs as needed promoting our brand and recruiting top talent
  • Prepare and execute onboarding process for new hires
  • Conduct new hire orientation, including completion of all new forms (i.e. I-9 and W-4), policy review and benefits introduction
  • Perform exit interviews to gather data for ways to improve

Education and Experience*

  • Bachelor Degree in human resources, business, psychology or relevant HR experience
  • 3+ years of experience resolving employee relations issues
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including compensation practices, performance management, and federal and state employment laws
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
