About us
The Michigan State Police (MSP) is a full-service policing agency with statewide jurisdiction, providing over 60 different services either directly to Michigan residents or in support of other law enforcement agencies. The MSP personnel most visible to the public are the uniform troopers whose primary responsibilities include traffic enforcement, crime prevention and investigation, and community engagement and service.
This position is responsible for being the face of all things Human Resources (HR), driving people-first HR, specifically related to disability management, employee safety and health, labor relations, classification and selection, compensation, performance management, and agency education/training within their assigned Bureau. This position assesses and anticipates HR-related needs for the assigned bureau, including identifying gaps and issues surrounding department operations and employee performance. This position creates collaboration between employees, management, and HR staff in support of bureau success. This position is embedded in the Human Resources Division (HRD) and ensures the consistent agency-wide application of policy, practice, language, and accuracy of information provided to the assigned bureau.

Pay: $23.43 - $36.73 per hour
