HR Generalist

Westmont, IL Environmental Construction firm seeks dynamic, flexible HR Generalist to work with its HR/ Payroll Team. Work 2-3 days in office; flexible considerations thereafter.

Responsibilities include:

· Oversee New Hire Process and Procedures

· Maintain all data in payroll and HRIS systems ensuring high level data integrity.

· Process employment verifications, unemployment claims, other outside requests

· Prepare reports from HRIS system as needed.

· Maintain all employee files.

· Provide support to our field staff and associates as needed.

Qualifications:

· “Can-do” attitude, strong connection to team success, and strong relationships with teammates required.

· 1- 2 years’ experience in fast-paced Human Resources/Payroll environment with an emphasis on employee service.

· Must have experience in mid-large size multi- site/ multi-state service company with employee population of 400+.

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (word, excel). Paycor and Viewpoint Construction software experience a plus.

· HRIS data input and reporting experience.

· General knowledge of FLSA, HIPAA, COBRA, EEO, and other labor laws

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· AA degree preferred.
