MORE ON THE ROLE:
Housing Stabilization Coaches/Case Managers break the cycle of instability in the lives of our clients. While our ultimate goal is to help all of our clients move into stable housing, we measure our success by our ability to help clients take steps toward long-term stability, no matter how small. You will help clients create an individualized plan to identify and overcome barriers that have kept them building long-term stability in their lives. Barriers we work through with our clients include criminal backgrounds, money management, lease comprehension, rent payment, and habit formation.

Once a client has housing, our team continues to break the cycle of instability. After developing the skills to help clients move, you will have the opportunity to help clients gain long-term stability in their current housing. Through a 12-week intensive period, you and your client will create SMART (Specific. Measurable. Achievable. Relevant. Timebound.) steps and habits to address the following seven areas of housing stability:

• Tenant Conduct
• Financial Management
• Household Management
• Mental and Physical Health Support
• Behavioral Support
• Community Integration
• Service Management

SOME IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS: Reliable vehicle/valid driver's license and ability to transport clients, required

• Good knowledge of the Twin Cities Area
• Ability to quickly learn new software systems
• Professional work experience, preferred
• Housing or Human Services experience, preferred not required

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:

• Full Time/Monday-Friday/Daytime Hours (flexible schedule)
• $18-$21 Hourly Rate, depending on skills and experience
• Mileage reimbursement when transporting clients
• Benefits include: Health, Dental, PTO, 401K and more (after 90 days of full-time employment)
