HOUSEKEEPER - FULL TIME:
$15.00 per hour:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 18 years of age and at least 10 years of education.
• Some basic experience in housekeeping and willing to learn facility procedures.
• Must pass the medical examination, consistent with the job description. Must be in good physical and emotional health, with no previous back injuries, or back weakness that will interfere with the duties of the job. Job duties may include pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Present qualities of courtesy, willingness, and cheerfulness.

RESPONSBILITIES:

• Maintains a well-groomed appearance and practices good personal hygiene.
• Comes to work on time, as scheduled, and consistently demonstrates dependability.
• Is willing to do the work designated, to the best of your ability.
• Knowledge of the general policies of the department and facility.
• Knowledge of location of various departments within the facility.
• Maintains a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Provides care to resident’s room and personal belongings, without violating the Resident’s Rights.
• Maintains a sense of responsibility for and pride in the accomplishments of the department.
• Participates in the educational in-services and training provided by the facility.
• Knowledge of the facility disaster and safety preparedness and infection control policies.
