We are seeking Full-Time Hot Inspectors
for Second and Third shifts.
(Second Shift Hours: 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM)
(Third Shift Hours: 10:45 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hot Inspector is responsible for ensuring visual and dimensional compliance for specifications of hot production as called out on standardized work, control plans and other plant processes. Other responsibilities include ensuring a safe work area and good housekeeping practices and:
- Audit all assigned hot production cells to ensure visual and dimensional compliance to specifications. File parts to C-Q specifications
- Provide support to production supervisor for problem solving
- Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications
- Demonstrate compliance and/or non-compliance to visually inspect casting for defects
- Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance
- No prior experience needed. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of products is a plus
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. during the normal workday
- Able to stand to perform essential duties and responsibilities
- Ability to work independently after a two-week training period
- Ability to give full attention to understand assigned tasks, asking questions as appropriate
- Ability to talk to others to convey information effectively.
- Monitor/Assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action,
