G-Man Brewery & Sports bar is adding to our team!
We are hiring for a part-time host position for 2-3 shifts per week. You MUST be available on Saturday's.
Starting rate is $16-$19/hr PLUS TIPS.
(We pay an extra +3/hr for shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from our regular base pay of $16)
What we are looking for:
We are seeking friendly and reliable persons who can multitask. You are the first impression for our guests, making you the essential person our guests see when they arrive!! The host is responsible for greeting guests, handing out menus, and assigning them to their tables. Hosts will also assist with directing phone calls and placing TO-GO orders.
We use the software "Hostme" to seat guests and create a waitlist. The right candidate will be comfortable with text messaging style software.
When you are not checking in guests, you will help with bussing, wiping down, and cleaning tables and menus. Hosts also assist in answering the phone and directing calls while taking TO-GO orders.
This is a great opportunity for someone who does not have restaurant experience but is looking to get into the service industry. You will be perfect for this position if you have strong customer service experience and are up to learning new tasks.

Important info before you apply:
1) You must be at least 21 years old since we do not allow minors at any hours.
2) This is a permanent part-time position.
3) This is a tipped position. Hosts are tipped out of each server's and bartender's revenue sales. You should expect around an additional $3-$4 per hour in tips on top of your hourly pay.
4) Base pay is $16-$19/hr. (Weekdays = $16/hr, Saturdays and Sundays =$19/hr)
