An acute care hospital in Maryland is actively seeking an Assistant Director Plant Operations & Facilities Management to lead their team.

Hospital Assistant Director Plant Operations & Facilities Management will be based out of the health system’s 300+ bed facility known for both their acute care hospital and rehab center located in Maryland. The Hospital Assistant Director Plant Operations & Facilities Management will support a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for managing budgets, purchasing, maintaining records and update-to-date filing systems, updating policy procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The Hospital Assistant Director Plant Operations & Facilities Management will also assist with developing programs to increase efficiency, assist with new hire education, and be the department liaison for the organization.

The Assistant Director Plant Operations & Facilities Management will have previous plant operations and facilities management experience, ideally within a healthcare setting. Additionally, the Assistant Director Plant Operations & Facilities Management should hold their valid drivers license and stationary engineer license with previous specialized training in physical plant operations (plumbing, electrical, boilers, chillers, and other HVAC components).
