JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Medical Records Technical Advisor the HIM Assistant is responsible to organize and manage health information data. They ensure that the information maintains its quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security in the electronic health system. The HIM Assistant will scan patient information (paper) into the system and process patient records requests.
EDUCATION/SKILLS: High School diploma/GED equivalent required. Medical Records experience strongly preferred. Three to five years medical office experience strongly preferred. Excellent computer skills needed to be successful in this roll.
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:30 – 5:00.
LOCATION: Society Hill, Special Programs.
