We are seeking a compassionate, detail oriented school counselor to work with our team and help our students be successful. The ideal candidate has a background in counseling and education, is interested in working with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and has experience working one-on-one with students who may be struggling in one or more of the following areas: academics, socio-emotional foundations, behavior, and/or career development. If you are someone who looks for every opportunity to promote growth and development for all of your individual students, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities:

• Advise students, teachers, faculty, parents, and administrative staff on academic, social, and career issues.
• Facilitate the special needs of students.
• Provide career counseling for students considering vocational training or higher education.
• Perform academic counseling for students having difficulties in school.
• Adhere to state and national regulations and guidelines for school counselors.
• Collaborate with faculty to adjust curriculum to ensure that students meet state and federal requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,672.00 - $75,288.00 per year
