Anakeesta is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our maintenance team. This individual will be required to operate multiple pieces of equipment safely and correctly for both excavating and material management.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate Skid Steers, Mini Excavators, Bulldozer and any other heavy equipment as needed
• Operate additional equipment which might include forklifts, backhoes, dump trucks, and cargo trucks, among other tools
• Operate additional heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures
• Operates numerous soil excavation/remediation equipment
• Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment
• Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as guideline for operating and maintaining vehicle
• Follow all relevant safety standards and procedures.
• Work with a small crew and be able to safely direct assistants as needed.
• Responsible for the safety and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Complete assigned projects with minimal supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience

• At least 5 years of equipment operation experience required
• Must have experience on both foot pedal and joystick operated Mini-Excavators and Skid-Steers
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor equipment repair.
• Use of hand tools, hammers, saws, rakes, shovels, chain saws, etc.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift to 30 lbs. and team lift heavier objects.
• Ability to work on feet all day, at various heights, in rough terrain, and in all weather conditions
• Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday
