Job description
The Grand Healthcare System is looking for a Healthcare Recruiter! This position will handle all of the hiring needs for three long term healthcare facilities on Long Island. The three facilities are located in Queens, Great Neck, and Island Park.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for recruitment strategy, sourcing techniques and implementing innovative and efficient programs to ensure hiring and retention of the best talent
- Screen candidates and schedule interviews with Department Heads
- Manage the onboarding process
- Responsible for compliance with appropriate governmental and legal regulations, policies and procedures.
- Acts as liaison with Corporate Human Resources on all projects, as directed by management and implements all new or revised HR programs at the regional level in accordance with the established HR strategy
- Assist with New Hire Orientations
- Continuously work with facilities to make sure all staffing needs are being met
- Run recruiting events such as job fairs and open houses
- Maintain relationships with schools in the area
- Maintain relationships with new staff for better retention
- Talent acquisition
Requirements:
- Must be able to travel to all three facilities
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office required
- Must have strong communication skills
